Clarinet Scholarship
The Clarinet Scholarship seeks to honor Renna Clarinet Thornton’s philosophy and enthusiasm for education. After graduating from Coppin State College with her degree in special education in 1972, she started her 40-year teaching journey with Baltimore City Public Schools as a science teacher and special educator. Her classroom was an exhibit of the scientific method, science visualizations, resources, and plants.
